Annika Hofmann
After Annika completed her Abitur at Maria-Ward-Gymnasium in Bamberg with an excellent grade, she took part in the Modulstudien Naturale at FAU for orientation after school. As part of this, she had the opportunity to attend various lectures at the university. As her interest was aroused by her first insights into law, she decided to study law. Annika finds the opportunity to learn more about other cultures through international law particularly appealing. Having worked in the legal department of a company, she is used to working in a team and is looking forward to the opportunity to make contacts with students from other countries. |

Lea Hermsdorf
Lea graduated from the Robert-Schuman-Gymnasium in Saarlouis in 2019 with both her Abitur and Baccalauréat, earning very good grades. Afterward, she participated in the European Solidarity Corps in Clermont-Ferrand for one year, which sparked her interest in international cooperation and legal issues. Therefore, she began her studies in German-French Law at the University of Erlangen in the winter semester of 2020/2021. From August 2022 to January 2024, she studied French law in Rennes. In the summer of 2023, she completed a two-month internship at a law firm specializing in economic criminal law in Paris. Due to her internationally shaped experiences, Lea is particularly excited about the opportunity to further develop her professional and linguistic skills in the Vis Moot Court. She eagerly looks forward to the opportunity to bring her commitment and passion for international legal issues to this competition and to refine her legal reasoning. |

Lukas Holtmann
After Lukas successfully completed his Abitur and Baccalauréat with very good grades in 2020, he began his law studies in the German-French Law program at the FAU in the winter semester of 2020/21. During his three semesters at the Université de Rennes 1 and an internship in Paris, he developed a strong interest in international law, particularly in private international law, which was a focal point of his studies. By participating in the 32nd Vis Moot, he hopes to deepen his knowledge of international law and apply it in a realistic and competitive setting. Furthermore, the Vis Moot offers him the opportunity to expand his skills in Legal English, and he looks forward to making contacts with students and law firms from various countries. |

Simon Claussen
Simon studies law in the 5th semester at FAU. After graduating with top marks from high school, Simon was accepted as a scholar holder of the Hanns-Seidel Foundation. Due to his interests in the practical appliance of law, Simon was part of the FAUMUN2024 Delegation and was able to gain Moot experience, representing the FAU within the Soldan Moot team 2024. Following his intests in private international law, Simon aspires to improve his legal english skills and considers his participation in the VisMoot a great chance, to expand his knowledge, build connections and foster his understanding of the rules that make international trade and dispute resolution possible. |

Simon Schrodt
After achieving his Abitur in Ingolstadt with excellent grades, Simon started studying Franco-German law at the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. He spent three semesters at the Université de Rennes where he obtained a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. Due to his focus on public international law and private international law during his stay in France, he became interested in international law. He dedicated his mémoire to alternative dispute resolution methods; hereof, international arbitration has been a substantial component. One of his fundamental convictions is the exchange of students from Europe and all over the world which is promoted by the 32nd Vis Moot. That was the decisive factor for Simon’s participation. |
